ReplyDeleteOh, these are LOVELY! I love French General. I am collecting FQs to make a king size quilt of all French General fabrics...not sure of the pattern yet. I am also a mother of 6, but not on a farm. In the woods, though. I have 6 boys and would not want to raise them in a city :)

I would make a new Laura Ingalls dress for my daughter :) Well, I would probably have to supplement the fabric since she is almost 8. But she had one in a print that would go perfectly with your selection so that is all I can think of :)

ReplyDeleteYou know what? These might just be the colour combinations that I need to finally complete the bedroom curtains I've been making. I'm using my husband's old t-shirts for a unique quilted type pattern for the curtain panels. But I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do with the extra space. His shirts are all black, grey, blue, kinda boring... maybe I need to spice it up a little with a splash of red?

ReplyDeleteI make small quilts and belong to SmallTalk, a yahoo group. I would use French General fabrics in a lot of my little quilts. When a quilt is hardly bigger than a fat quarter, a little fabric goes a long way!
